Land Parcel Identification System and Block Database PLB DB is a part of an integrated administration and control system (IAKS), that allows to control declared land use and land parcels. Land Parcel Identification System and Block Database is the system of land parcel identification and registering, that consists of graphic and attribute data.

Data

Land Parcel Identification System and Block Database of Lithuania consists of information about parcels of farmland, built up territories, integrated territories, pastures and orchards.

Attribute data for PLB DB of the year 2004:

• geoelement code;
• parcel unique number;
• parcel area in hectares;
• last correction date;
• last correction description;
• municipality internal ID (describes municipality, that include a particular parcel).

Coding system used for PLB DB preparation corresponds with “Aerial Photography, Ortophoto Map, Satellite Imagery for Land Parcel Identification System and Block Database Update Location - Lithuania“:

• bl1 – farmland parcels;
• bl2 – built up territory parcels;
• bl3 – integrated territory parcels;
• bl4 – greenland, pasture parcels;
• bl5 – orchard parcels.

Application range

Land Parcel Identification System and Block Database of Lithuania is created upon implementation of negotiated obligations to create such system, that is implemented in all EU member countires. This system is designed for administration of EU and national support and for control of support financial funds usage. This data base is used for creation of land parcel identification system, that supports control process of declared agricultural land uses and parcel areas.

Assignement clauses

Vector data is assigned in GEODATABASE format. Data can be recalculated to other co-ordinate systems, mapjoined, converted and assigned in different formats upon a separate agreement. The copyright of Land Parcel Identification System and Block Database of Lithuania belongs to the National Land Service under the Ministry of Agriculture. PLB DB is distributed only by signing licence agreement with the State Enterprise “GIS-Centras”. Data base is assigned in solid form or divided into five data blocks.
