EuroMapFinder (further mentioned as EMF) is development project for the gateway of metadata, that represent information on the products and services provided by European national cartography and cadastre agencies. Harmonised and quality metadata is an essential condition for the development of the gateways that GI users are expecting. EuroMapFinder project seeks to create and support link between EuroSpec specification and INSPIRE directives what will help to achieve interoperability in metadata technical and commercial activity also developing reliable data management.

EuroGlobalMap (further mentioned as EGM) project was initiated by EuroGeographics association on the background of former projects MapBSR and GlobalMap. This project aims at creating mechanisms for the creation and maintenance of a pan-European base map in scale 1:1 million. The project therefore adds value to the existing data and to the work already done at the national level in Europe. Very important aim of EGM project is preparing the grounds for an efficient and widespread exploitation of such public sector reference information in the value added private sector.

GlobalMap – is the project of the world countries digital geographic dataset, that is prepared according to general specification. This dataset is planned to be used for monitoring and protecting the environment.

MapBSR – is the project for a map of the Baltic Sea Region, that was initiated as the demand on geographic information among the countries of the Baltic Sea drainage basin territory is increasing. The goals of MapBSR project is to present the main complex datasets of the digital map in small scale of 1:1000 000 of these countries that have the river network belonging to the Baltic Sea drainage basin. MapBSR project for the first time presents the seamless, unified and steadily prepared digital map dataset for the whole Baltic Sea Region. MapBSR dataset is fitted for the geographic information systems (GIS) and may be complemented by additional thematic information.
