General information

The georeference data base of settlements GDB5LT at scale 1:5000 was created in 2006. ORT5LT Digital Raster Orthophotographic Map of Settlements at scale 1:5000 (year of 2005-2006) and GDB10LT Lithuanian Georeference Data Base (year of 2005) were used for creation of GDB5LT data. GDB5LT data base is produced for 94 settlements.

Akmenė and Venta, Birštonas and Prienai, Kaišiadorys and Žiežmariai, Kybartai and Virbalis, Pagėgiai and Panemunė settlements data bases are related as each two of these settlements have communication with each other.

Assignement clauses

The georeference data base of settlements GDB5LT at scale 1:5000 is assigned by separate settlements in ESRI Shape format.

The copyright of GDB5LT belongs to the National Land Service under the Ministry of Agriculture. GDB5LT data is distributed by signing 2, 3, 4 or 5 year duration licence agreement with its official distributor the State Enterprise “GIS-Centras”.
